Ray Archer Trio is based at the ‘One-Bar Rest’ pub where it's had a gig as the house band since 2005. Recently Ray and the lads have achieved a certain amount of commercial success in Europe and North America. The band’s biggest hits so far have been ‘Blues’ and 'Shuffle de Funk'.

Ray Archer – keyboards
Don Westerhope - sax and all things blowable
Dave-Bill ‘Slam’ Duncan – bass guitar and high volume
Huw Nose – drums and bells
Ray Archer Trio is often augmented by the sassy vocalist Clare ‘Belle Dame’ Voyant. Clare accompanied the band on their recent sell-out US “Hey DJ” Tour and sang on their fusionist No.1 hit “Top Top” and the equally popular ‘Welcome to the Universe’ dance club number.

Meet the band members:
Legendary guitarist Quentin Ghatto has featured on some of Ray Archer Trio’s biggest successes playing an Epiphone Emperor Don Pass signature instrument.
Don Westerhope almost left the band last Christmas Eve, after an on-stage falling-out with Duncan during 'The Boy from Ipanema' at the Walthamstow Conservative Club Ladies' Night. Luckily things got patched up and an uneasy truce now exists in the band.
The band prides itself on its roots expressionism and looks forward to conquering the tricky Austrian easy listening market in the near future.
